Wine Tasting and Local Artisanal Cheese with Derby Wine Estates

This weekend only enjoy Reserve Wine tasting paired with local artisanal cheeses from local cheese-makers.  Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy a breathtaking view of the vineyard in the Spring time. Outdoor games, recreational activities and good clean fun is guaranteed!

Farm to Fork Dinner and Tour

Nestled in the hills of Paso Robles, among the oaks and vines that make the Adelaida region famous is where you can savor this year's exclusive Farm to Fork dinner, wine pairing, and tour.  Join Tablas Creek's award-winning Winemaker Neil Collins and Founder Robert Haas as they welcome you to their haven with wine and introduce you to their sustainable and poly-cultural farming and winemaking practices.  Famed Executive Chef and Owner of Artisan of Paso Robles, Chris Kobayashi is joined by his top farmers and food purveyors to serve you a tantalizing multi-course dinner you are sure to never forget.  Tour the property and learn about Tablas' sustainable growing practices and the steps they are taking now to ensure longevity for many more vintages to come.  Make your way to the long family-style table to meet the local farmers who have specially grown the produce for your dinner, with each course individually paired with Tablas Creek wines.  Seating is limited to preserve the intimate nature of this dinner.

Templeton Farmer's Market

Spend the morning at the largest farmer's market in the county - an ideal place to begin your Saturday morning.  Browse local artisans, purchase fresh and local produce, and enjoy the beautiful downtown Templeton.

Earth Day Food & Wine Festival - Main Event

Parking is limited at the event and available on a first-come, first-serve basis for $20 per car - advanced reservations required.  For those that choose to take advantage of the countywide shuttles, tickets are $10 per person roundtrip.

Time: 1:00 p.m. for Premiere Admission; 2:00 p.m. for General Admission
Cost: Premiere: $100 - $600; General Admission: $40 - $75

Earth-Day BYO-Picnic and Plant Sale at Windrose Farm

Bring your own picnic lunch to enjoy under the apple trees, or wherever you choose! Take a lazy stroll or cruise on your bicycle by the orchards, fields and pastures, bird watching and visiting our spring lambs. Chit-chat with a farmer about the nature of their work, or enjoy a game of horse shoes or chess in the herb garden. We will also have multiple varieties of Heirloom tomato plants, pepper plants, basil, and other herbs and veggie starts grown here in our nursery available for purchase.Free informative tours at 11am and 2pm.

Cass Wines Tax Relief Dinner

It’s that time of year…let it all go Saturday night with us at Cass Winery. Chef Jacob is preparing a night of alcohol infused dishes.  Appetizers: Sake Chicken Wings, Tequila Ceviche: Served on homemade chips, Guinness battered mushrooms, Garlic dipping sauce.  First Course: Arugula & Apricot Salad, Paradise bleu cheese & Cass Sparkling vinaigrette, Paired with Cass Roussanne.  Second Course: Cajon & Bourbon marinated New York Strip steak, Whiskey braised mushroom & onions, Roasted Fingerline potatoes, Jack Daniels butter, Paired with Cass Syrah.  Third Course: Cass Dessert Wine Chocolate Lava Cakes paired with Cass Dessert wine.

Time: 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.

After Party at the Pour House with JD Project

Join locals and festival goers at the official after party of Earth Day Food and Wine Festival at the The Pour House Tap Room and Beer Shoppe, located behind Firestone Brewery, between the towns of Templeton and Paso Robles, at the Hwy 101 and Hwy 46W interchange (near Hampton Inn & Hotel Bellasera). This cozy, tucked-away beer pub serves up unique and hard to find brews along with fantastic live music in a casual setting that is a local favorite! JD Project will take the stage at about 8pm and get the house dancing with their rocking original tunes and fun cover songs. Come early, this will sell out!

Join us at Nature's Touch Nursery & Harvest for a Farmer's Sampler! Nature's Touch all local sources and offers only certified organic and naturally grown food.  Discover Mortar & Pestle, an eatery inside of Nature's Touch with fresh fruit, creme brulee french toast, mini-quiches, coffee and tea.  Grown by Nature's Touch, Made by Mortar & Pestle. There will also be farming and gardening discussion and how to’s, sampling of other local products that are grown and produced locally, and 15c Wine Bar will also be here at Nature’s Touch to help with Paring of wines with this local brunch.  For us, farm-to-table is an every day choice!

Farm Tour to Table with Thomas Hill Organics

Thomas Hill Farms is family owned and dedicated to organically grown, unique, heirloom varieties of fruit, vegetables and nuts. Take this unique opportunity to tour the farm with owners Joe and Debbie Thomas as they discuss the more than 900 fruit and nut trees, vineyard of Italian varietals, and a field filled with arugula, kale, mustard greens, beets, escarole, rutabagas, and various seasonal vegetables and herbs grown on their 10 acres.

Follow the tour with an exquisite lunch at their award-winning restaurant, Thomas Hill Organics, prepared with the same ingredients you saw growing on their farm.  And no visit to the Central Coast is complete without wine. Enjoy sustainably grown wine from Cass Winery during your lunch.
